Meet Linus’ Twin

Written by Erin | Sunday September 21, 2008 at 6:37 pm

Alec’s in his Sunday best again today with his faithful companion blankie. I am telling you - his blankets go everywhere! You should see him tote both around the house all day, it hiliarious! We have started to call him “Linus”. It sticks well!

New shoes from Grammie C - Thank you!

***This caption of Linus just captures Alec’s personality so well. Alec enjoys “preaching” and “talking” with his hands and blanket!***

Sunday Best

Written by Erin | Thursday September 18, 2008 at 9:09 pm

We all went back to church last Sunday and wondered how Alec would handle it. He did very well. I dressed him up all preppy too! He didn’t really want his picture taken since we were going “bye bye” so that’s why his face looks unimpressed!

Hiding

“Where’s Alec? Where is he?” “Has anyone seen Alec?!” “Alec, Alec where are you?!” PEAK A BOO! This is without a doubt his favorite game to play with us. Whether it is behind his hands, under his blanket or like today, under his bed! I managed to capture him playing towards the end, he kept going under and coming out and running towards me, then back under - giggling while I asked “Where’s Alec!?”

Ah to be young!

Story Telling

So Alec really enjoys making up his own stories in gibberish! haha!

Hey Hey! Look at me! I’m a BIG BOY!

Well we ditched the high chair! Alec was becoming very fussy when he was in it and it was clear he wanted some independence. So we already had a booster seat and just attached it to a chair and removed the tray and voila’ we gave him his own seat at the table with mommy and daddy! He loves it and so does mommy because it is MUCH easier to clean than the high chair! Here’s some pictures and a video of Alec enjoying breakfast at his new seat! Enjoy!

What’s next? Maybe the Toddler bed! AHHHHHHH! 5 30am wake up calls for mommy I’m sure! We are probably going to wait a few more months to make that transition. Phew!

My first real BIG Boo Boo

Written by Erin | Friday September 5, 2008 at 8:44 pm

Alec had his first real big boo boo. He fell out of his little red car and onto concrete, face first! He’s ok though, but of course mommy had to capture the pictures for his blog and baby books.

The first picture is the bump on his head, which you can’t really see too well, it healed pretty quick.

The second is his hand, which is still in the current condition - no matter how much Neosporin mommy puts on it.
